Long Bio/Achievements

Grace Camera strives to capture a picture (pun intended!) of life’s small but powerful moments through eclectic musical textures, clever lyricism, and her sweet, yet unexpectedly soulful, powerhouse vocals. Raised in the New York City area, Grace fell in love with jazz, which continues to shape the expressive edge of her pop sound. She found her voice through choir and jazz ensembles, writing songs, and learning piano, guitar, and violin.  That foundation now fuels her work as a performer, arranger, and songwriter. Described as having an unassumingly powerful edge to her voice, poised stage presence, and a pure, warm tone, Grace’s musical style thrives on contrast, blurring the line between vulnerability and strength.

Now based in Nashville, Grace’s music draws from both of her worlds combining pop-soul vocals and jazz influences, with conversational, singer-songwriter sensibilities. Her influences include Sara Bareilles, Tori Kelly, and jazz greats such as Sarah Vaughan.

Throughout her career, she has performed at iconic venues in NYC,including as a soloist at 54 Below, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center.  She also has toured with vocal ensembles to Los Angeles, New Orleans, Boston and Washington, D.C, as well as internationally throughout Ireland.  Currently, she is Music Director of The Beltones, the oldest, internationally ranked acappella group at Belmont University, where Grace is studying Commercial Voice with an emphasis in Songwriting.  She is also a performer and arranger in “Company,” an ensemble known for delivering electric vocal performances and choreography.

Grace is looking forward to announcing her debut artist project soon!  Her soulful, pop track “Blame,” and jazz-pop single “ Worth Getting Her (Hurt)”are set to be released in early Spring 2026!  With these that explore themes relating to the complexity of self-confidence, Grace is excited to tell more of her story as an artist.

Grace Camera continues to create genre-bending, expectation defying music that captures a complex sonic picture, allowing listeners to hear deeper than surface level.
