Grace Camera strives to capture a picture (pun intended!) of life’s small but powerful moments through eclectic musical textures, clever lyricism, and her sweet, yet unexpectedly soulful, powerhouse vocals. Raised in the New York City area, Grace fell in love with jazz, which continues to shape the expressive edge of her pop sound. She found her voice through choir and jazz ensembles, writing songs, and learning piano, guitar, and violin. That foundation now fuels her work as a performer, arranger, and songwriter. Described as having an unassumingly powerful edge to her voice, poised stage presence, and a pure, warm tone, Grace’s musical style thrives on contrast, blurring the line between vulnerability and strength.
Now based in Nashville, Grace’s music draws from both of her worlds combining pop-soul vocals and jazz influences, with conversational, singer-songwriter sensibilities. Her influences include Sara Bareilles, Tori Kelly, and jazz greats such as Sarah Vaughan.
